The Thinking Behind Sales Performance
SD&P development programs drive superior performance for sales professionals and sales businesses. Our skill development process is based on the groundbreaking work of K. Anders Ericsson, PhD., a world renown psychology scholar and professor at Florida State University. Ericsson's research on the acquisition of expert performance over the last 25 years has provided valuable insights to many of the “secrets” of superior performance.
Dr. Ericsson’s work along with other colleagues has shown through emperical research, that expert performance does not come from from natural innate ability or experience but is the result of a unique form of training called “Deliberate Practice.” Using this research-based platform, we have created a unique sales development program that incorporates Deliberate Practice training activities.
As the economic “right-sizing” process continues, sales professionals must gear up their skills in order to meet the demand of the rapidly changing work environment.
